Access billing settings
All billing management happens in one location:
- Open Quo web or desktop app
- Click Settings from left menu
- Select Plan & billing under Workspace
Change your plan
Upgrade or downgrade your subscription anytime:
- Navigate to Plan & billing settings
- Click Change plan
- Select monthly or annual billing cycle
- Choose your desired plan (Starter, Business, Scale)
- Confirm changes
Upgrades take effect right away, with prorated charges applied for the rest of the current period.
Downgrades are scheduled for your next renewal. You keep access to your current plan’s features through the end of the billing period, and the new plan starts when that period ends.
Update payment methods
Credit or debit cards
- Go to Plan & billing settings
- Scroll to Payment methods section
- Click Update payment method
- Enter new credit card details
- Click Save
Apple App Store
- Open Settings app on your iOS device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Quo subscription
- Update payment method or cancel
Google Play Store
- Open Google Play Store app
- Tap Menu → My Apps → Subscriptions
- Select Quo
- Update payment method or cancel
Switch payments from the App Store or Google Play to credit or debit
- Log in to Quo on web or desktop
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Under “Payment Method,” click “Switch to credit card”
- Enter credit/debit card info and click Save
- Cancel the Apple App Store or Google Play subscription to avoid being double-charged
When switching to direct billing from the App Store or Google Play, add your payment information to Quo before you cancel your subscription elsewhere to avoid interruptions.
Managing team billing
Adding team members
When you add users mid-billing cycle:
- Immediate billing: Prorated charges apply immediately
- Full access: New users get complete platform access
- Number inclusion: Each user includes one phone number
Removing team members
When you remove a member mid-cycle, their access is revoked right away, but the seat itself stays on your subscription through the end of your current billing period.
- Fill the seat for free: add a new member to it anytime before renewal at no additional charge
- Or leave it empty: we’ll automatically remove the seat from your subscription at renewal, so your bill drops the following period — no need to manually downgrade
- Need it again later? Add a member at any point in the future and the seat comes back
Subscription cancellation
Cancellation process
- Navigate to Plan & billing page
- Scroll to bottom and click Cancel Subscription
- Type “Cancel” to confirm
- Click Yes, cancel
- Receive confirmation email
What happens after cancellation
- No refunds: Payments already made are non-refundable
- Service continues: Account remains active until billing period ends
- Number retention: Phone numbers held for 30 days maximum
Failed payments
- 5 retry attempts: Automatic retry over several days
- Email and text notifications: Alerts sent for failed payments
- Account suspension: Subscription canceled if all retries fail
- 14-day number retention: Shorter retention period for failed payments
Account closure options
- Standard cancellation: Service continues until period ends; 30-day retention
- Port numbers away: Notify support to hold numbers during porting
- Data export: Export contact lists, call logs, and other data before closure
