# How to port out from Comcast

> Step-by-step guide to transfer your phone numbers from Comcast to Quo, formerly OpenPhone

## Overview

Porting your Comcast (Xfinity) phone numbers to Quo requires gathering specific information including a voice security PIN. Comcast has different processes for landline and mobile customers, with distinct PIN generation methods for each. The porting process typically completes within 1-2 weeks.

## Before you begin

### Supported number types

* Local US phone numbers
* Canadian phone numbers
* North American toll-free numbers
* Comcast landline numbers
* Xfinity Mobile numbers

### Requirements

* Active Comcast/Xfinity account with the numbers you want to port
* Primary user access for PIN generation
* Workspace owner or admin access in Quo
* Desktop or web version of Quo for submitting the port request
