  ## Automatically protect your business calls from spam labels

  Now when you set up your new OpenPhone account and complete the US Carrier Registration form, we'll automatically register your phone numbers with industry partners. This helps ensure that when you call your customers, your calls won't be incorrectly flagged as ‘spam’ or ‘scam likely’ by major US carriers.

  * **For new US customers (July 16, 2025 and later):** Voice protection is automatic once you complete US Carrier Registration.

  * **For existing customers:** Continue using the Free Caller Registry in your Trust Center settings.

  * **For Canadian customers:** We recommend registering with [Hiya](https://hiyahelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/p/request_hub) for spam protection.
