We’ve rolled out a set of improvements to our Salesforce integration, fixing common pain points and adding powerful new features that make it easier to track and act on every customer interaction.

**AI call summaries in Salesforce:** After every call, OpenPhone generates a call summary that’s automatically added to your Salesforce tasks with key points, next steps, and call details.

**Sona AI call tracking:** When your AI agent, Sona, answers calls, those interactions are now logged in Salesforce, too. You’ll see the summary, plus a clear note that the call was handled by Sona.

**Smarter call tracking:** We now log even more call activity types in Salesforce, including:

  * Calls automatically forwarded to a teammate

  * Calls routed through your phone menu

  * Calls abandoned while navigating the phone menu

**No more duplicate activities or contacts:** We’ve fixed an issue where calls and messages were logged twice after a lead was converted. Now, each interaction appears just once.

These improvements are rolling out automatically and are available now. No setup is required. Your historical data stays the same, but all new activities will benefit from these enhancements. To remove duplicate contacts, you will need to disconnect and reconnect their Salesforce integration.
