  In the past, whenever someone on your team would create a new contact, OpenPhone would default to keeping that contact private. But we've heard from workspace owners that they'd like the opposite: to make new contacts *shared* by default.

  So today, we're giving you that option:

  * Workspace owners and admins can now set sharing defaults for new contacts added to their workspace. New contacts can be shared with the entire workspace, select phone numbers, or even specific individuals.

  * Defaults will apply to contacts created in OpenPhone or synced from Google or CSV imports. Contacts synced from your phone's address book will remain private by default (though you can always share those manually using the "bulk share" option in the contacts section).

  * We've also made usability improvements to both individual and bulk contact sharing.
